Rustique - A Happening Bistro in the Rocky Mountains
    By: Rahul Jain

It's certainly true that when travelers look for a place to enjoy outdoor pursuits, outstanding accommodations and superb shopping they opt for Aspen, Colorado. But what attracts them most is the fantastic scenery afforded by the Rocky Mountains, serving as backdrop to some of the country’s top restaurants.

Among the latest and more frequented, Rustique, stands out. Mentioned in national and international publications, it attracts food lovers from around the globe. And with its typical country French ambience and cozy atmosphere, it’s become the rave of everyone who experiences it.

But if you want to get a table at Rustique you better make a reservation. This fabulous eatery has a main dining room with a capacity for 80 guests, and a private salon that can accommodate up to thirty people. As you’ll find out, they’re always filled to capacity.

So why should you choose Rustique? Well, outside of the warm and inviting atmosphere of its charming but simple décor, the staff is friendly and helpful. They will not only assist you in navigating the menu, but will help you select the proper wine to accompany the dish of your choice.

And not enough can be said of the food. Every delectable masterpiece that comes out of the kitchen is the pride and joy of Chef Ryan Flemming. His menu reflects the traditions of the French Provence with influences of the Colorado region. Most diners come for the specialty of the evening, always prepared to perfection. It usually includes a mouthwatering loin of venison, a hearty fish stew, lean and savory pork chops or the famed duck casserole. The entrees are paired with side dishes that complement the flavors of the main course. The more adventurous gourmets opt for the exotic entrees, featuring unique versions of frogs’ legs, black mussels, rainbow trout and salmon in honey, to name a few.

But no matter how fantastic your dish turns out to be, dessert is not something you want to miss when dining at Rustique. You can cleanse your palate with the home-made fruit sorbets or indulge in the sinful works of art posing as pecan cake or crème Brule.

For an unforgettable epicurean experience, give Rustique a try. It’s reasonably priced and everything you wish for in a great restaurant. Orlando Hotels offer the best in amenities for those traveling on business.
